Bangkok: Day 2

Rise and shine! Not that I wanted to, but I forgot to draw the curtains last night. So the sun was shining straight at my face. How to not wake up? But I woke up just slightly earlier than I was supposed to. So still ok lar. Lol. Anyway my friend woke up even earlier. He said he woke up at 7.00. Why so early?!!!! Can't sleep it seems. Hmmm.. I had quite a good sleep. But seeing it was me, I always have good sleep. Hahaha.. So he said he went down and walked the nearby streets.

A stall selling various satays.
All these smell so goooddddddddd.. But I didn't try any of it as we were heading out already. BUT! There is one thing I did try.

This tastes so goooddddd!
THE PORK SATAYYYYYY~!!!!!!!! Oh the fragrance!! Oh the taste!! Seriously this is good. It's one of the top food I had throughout my trip. It taste different from the satays in Malaysia. In a good way. Just. So. Good. After this first time, I went and bought from the stall every morning religiously. Even the aunty started to recognize me. Lol. Well anyway, back to the day 2 activities.

The organizer scheduled the day as the Wats Day. The temples in Bangkok are called wats, and we're going to visit some of them. First stop: Grand Palace. I didn't go in as they need an entrance fee of TB500 (which is quite a big sum considering I spent so much the previous day) and long trousers. I was wearing shorts. No problem there, just head to the reception and pay TB200 as deposit for their long trousers. So, considering I'm not really a big fan of places like these, I didn't enter. In fact, all of us didn't enter. We're on a budget here. Lol. But I did take a few photos here and there. Time to test my photography skills. Haha..

We didn't spend much time here. Just walked around and snapped some random photos. Once we're done, we walked to the next destination: Wat Pho.

A tree growing over the fence. Somehow I feel like snapping a photo of it.

One of the roofs in Wat Pho.

We spent even shorter time here. It's smaller compared to Grand Palace, but it seems that they have a bigger statue of the Lying Buddha in the temple. We, of course, decided not to enter again, as we're short of cash. Lol. I prayed outside the temple though, asking for blessings to pass all my subjects and graduate this semester. I was very worried, considering I couldn't really answer my last subject. Oh well. Everything is fated right. *sigh* Well anyway, we went to the next wat: Wat Arun.

To get to Wat Arun, I need to take a boat to cross the lake. The wat is like a place which is surrounded by a lake, and the only means of transportation there is by a boat. So, we took a boat from the Tha Tien port, and the fare costs TB3 per person. So cheap! It's only roughly RM0.30! Wow. I thought they'll butcher the tourists as Wat Arun is kinda famous.

The pier.

Another mandatory wefie on the boat.

We arrived at Wat Arun! The place is really calm and quiet. It gives a very peaceful and tranquil vibe. It's like whatever problems you have in your mind, they don't matter in this place. You don't feel troubled, worried or anxious. You just feel peace. Unlike Grand Palace or Wat Pho, which are crowded with tourists, this place is much awesome-er.

Another statue. Gargoyle?

The place for tourists to rest I suppose.

Prettyyyyy.

Notice the construction at the back? They're rebuilding/renovating/upkeeping the old temple.

Wefie again. xD

We finished walking around this place quite quickly because it's kinda small. And it's still early. So we decided to head to Khao San aka The Backpacker's Street (according to the taxi driver). The journey from Wat Arun to Khao San took about 15 minutes. Khao San, for me, is like a better version of Petaling Street. They have roadside shops. The street is clean. No weird weird people. The people there are all eye candies. (good for me!) We walked separately as we want to see different things. I noticed there's a shop selling singlets. One of my aims in Bangkok is to shop for singlets. Lol. Weird right. I walked the street and noticed the place is also full of ang mohs. Handsome, tall, fit, dreamy eyes ang mohs. *melts*

The singlets I bought from Khao San. Just TB100 per piece.
Well, apart from shopping and looking at ang mohs, I did get a massage. My friend was like dying to have a massage, so I agreed to go with her. I noticed some massage places have only all masseuses, while some have masseuses and masseurs. Of course I wanted those with masseurs! Hahaha.. But then...... my friend immediately entered one with only masseuses and settled everything with the front desk and even paid! Takkan I alone go to the one with masseurs kan. So I entered reluctantly lor.

As the massage group consists of 4 guys and a girl, I thought the girl will be massaged alone. I was wrong. Lol. It ended up with me and another guy will have our massage in another room. Oh well. Away from the gang but I'll have some quiet time myself. Hahaha.. I do not know how to evaluate the massage. It's very different from the ones I have in KL. The massage I had in KL is more towards kneading. My calves, shoulders and of course.... *wink* LOL! But the one in Bangkok is leaning towards stretching. Everything was alright except when the masseuse elbowed my inner thigh. WTFFFFFF!! Painful like anything. OMGGGGG! I almost shouted. Lol. And it was very near to my dick too. So I guess the nearer the place is to your dick, the more painful it'll feel. Hahaha.. And because I was having Thai massage, the masseuse didn't use oil. So everything was dry and rough. To use oil, I'll need to go for oil massage, which costs TB300. The Thai massage only costs about TB250. All in all, it was a good experience. I especially liked the massage when the masseuse did the foot massage. It was so heavenly! It's not as ticklish as I thought it would, and with the right points and strength, so relaxing. I will definitely get a massage whenever I'm in Thailand. Hopefully I'll get a masseur next time. Lol.

Well the funny thing is, when I'm done with my massage, and I looked over to my friend, his masseuse was panting. LOL!!!! I asked her if she's okay, and everyone laughed. Hahahaha.. Must be quite embarrassing for my friend. Lol. My friend is on the heavier side, so I guess she had to massage real hard. Seriously really funny at that time. xD

After the massage, we went to McD to find the others who didn't want a massage. Might as well settle our dinner there. Well, the regular set in Bangkok is our large set in Malaysia. Just the fries and drinks though. The burger remained regular. Lol. Nothing too special. BUT! They have pork burgers and pineapple pies. Oooooh the pineapple pies! It's so much better than the lychee pie, or the vegetarian pie, or the apple pie! A recommended food indeed.

So after our dinner, we decided to go to a place for a drink. I suggested we go to a place called Superflow. I happened to discover the place by chance during the day and it looked like quite a nice place to chill. So everyone agreed and we ordered some beers. But no ohm lar like that. So my friend said everyone should order some shots. I ordered one called Blowjob. Lol! There's another one called Cum or something. Hahahaha.. The staff laughed at my choice so I jokingly said, "I'll wait in the toilet." Lol! Nothing to special about this Blowjob. Of course it's white, unless there are semen of other colours. LOL. It's creamy, and vanilla-ish, and there's no kick to the shot. I drank it like I'm drinking milk or something. Definitely for the ladies. Less alcohol, and slightly sweet. But who will order a Blowjob? Hahahaha...

Yup. I do love Khao San.

A hottie ang moh in blue. *melts* Definitely look better in person.

Another hottie! Handsome ang moh DJ. Looks much much handsomer in person.

Swinging seats?

A bed. Lol. So convenient. Hahaha..

The beer we had.

A fountain.

Wefie when we're sober.

Wefie when we're slightly high.

I tried to look cool, but I don't think it suits me. =(

Some random alcohol mixed with juice we ordered. Tastes like teh O limau ais. Lol..

Of course there's a photo of me in bed. Lol.

After we're done, we headed back to the hotel.

There's this video of me Blowjob-ing. Hehehe.. Anyone who's reading this who wants to see it can Whatsapp me or something. I can't seem to upload it here.

Bangkok: Day 1

Hello whoever's reading this! It's been months since my last update. Well I was distracted with my (hopefully) last semester. I'll talk about it in some other post next time. Well, after my final examinations for the semester which ended on the 2nd of October, I went to Bangkok with my housemates on the 4th till the 9th. Calvin J suggested that I note it all down in the blog for his reading. Lol. Anyway, here goes.

My flight to Bangkok was scheduled at 10.50. So I had to wake up at 7 to get ready. So early my gosh. I slept only for about 4 hours I think. *yawn* Anyway, I got up and readied, and drove to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan. Why didn't I took the public transport to TBS? Well, Sg Long is a place where you can only depend on public bus, which comes around once every half an hour if you're lucky, and the trip from Sg Long to TBS will take more than an hour. We checked and decided to drive there instead. The entry fee to the parking costs RM4 per day, so I had to pay RM24 for the whole time I parked my car there. So many people share ok lar. Plus we need to reach TBS early so we can take the bus to KLIA2. Taking KLIA transit will cost more money but can reach earlier. Since we want to be cost effective, we sacrifice our sleep for a RM10 bus trip instead of a RM30+ train trip.

Anyway, we reached KLIA2 quite early. We stopped at McD for breakfast and to wait for KF and YV. Omg the breakfast set is so expensive! A burger, a hashbrown and a cup of Milo costs RM11+. Wth. Since when breakfast sets are so expensive. Or it's the airport price? But still.. After we had breakfast, we proceeded to wait at the waiting lounge. Wefie time!

The boarding pass

Wefie 1.0
Wefie 2.0
Nothing much to talk about here. We just waited and chit chatted until the departure time. And I slept throughout the flight there. Hahaha.. I need to catch up on my sleep. Lol. Anyway I did snap a photo before I slept.

So hazy. :(
We reached Bangkok around 1.00 Malaysian time, which is around 12.00 Bangkok time. We queued for metered taxi at the airport, which is quite convenient as you don't need to go out and find for a metered taxi yourself or risk getting "butchered" by dishonest drivers, who will overcharge you. All you need to do is just apply for a taxi and pay a small sum as additional fee for the airport at the end of your journey. We got 2 separate taxis as they are cheaper compared to one 7-seat taxi. Well anyway, I don't know if I'm lucky or unlucky. The taxi driver I was assigned to doesn't know how to speak English. OMG. He only knows how to speak one English word: OK. Seriously. He said "OK!" and pointed at a taxi when we just started our journey. I was like, "Ok what?" and tried to look who's in the taxi. Thinking back now, I think he's trying to say the others are in that taxi. We continued our journey without much conversation. How to have one? He can't speak English and I can't speak Thai. Habis lar. Lol. Moving on. I tried to recognize some buildings or some relative points so I can roughly get an idea where our hotel is and how to get to the nearest train station. The taxi driver turned in to one of the smaller roads and stopped. He talked to the locals there in Thai. We didn't know what happened, but I heard the hotel's name. OMG. He doesn't know where the hotel is?!!!! Here I am, in a foreign land, with the inability to speak their language, and I don't even know if the taxi driver is a good guy or bad guy. Panic. Lol. After asking some locals, he stopped at one of the streets. He pointed towards the end of the street and said "Ok! Ok!". I assumed he's trying to say that the hotel is somewhere along the street. So I took out my wallet and paid. But as I just exchanged my money, I don't have any small change. So I gave him TB500 and the fare was around TB300. He was like, "Ok. Ok? Okayyyyyy." and pointed at my wallet. I looked at the fare, and at the TB500 note, and knew he was looking for small change. Lol. My friend only had TB50 with him, the smallest change we had at that moment. The taxi driver sighed, "Okayyyyyy." and gave us the change. We took our bags and walked towards the hotel. After discussing, we realized the uncle charged us less! He took my friend's TB50 and gave me TB300, which means he charged us TB250 only, but the fare is TB300. So yeah. Lucky? Or unlucky?

Anyway, not long after I arrived at the hotel, the others arrived to. I proceeded to check in. Here's the thing, the credit card I used to make the booking was not working. The staff tried to swap the card using all their machines but still unsuccessful. I asked if I can use another card and gave them another credit card. Still unsuccessful. Panic. Again. If I can't make the payment where are we going to sleep? Under the bridge? (There is a bridge near the hotel. Really.) OMGGGGGG. And I can't make a call back to Malaysia because my number doesn't have international roaming service, Really panic. I had to use the hotel's wifi to call my brother via Whatsapp call. Called him, no answer. Called his girlfriend, no answer. Called another brother, no answer. WTTFFFFF?!!!!! Why you no answer me?!!!!! Really panicking that time. I told everyone to gather enough cash first. Finally my brother answered. I was like, "What did you do!! Why is the card not working?!!!! WHY?!!!!". He told me to let the staff try again. I was like, "Please try as many times as possible!" Lol. Thankfully the card worked! The staff was smiling and said, "Finally!" *phew* Hotel? Checked.

After we settled in our own rooms, we discussed where to go. First stop: Chatuchak Weekend Market! We spent only roughly one hour there because by the time we reached that place, it was almost 6.00. The place is really worth going. It's one of the must-go tourist attraction. I didn't snap much here because the place is just full of shops, and I was busy shopping. Hahaha..

1. Lotion for my mum, 2 aunts, and my brother's girlfriends.

I bought different scents. Lavender, Rose, Jasmine, and another flower which I forgot. Lol.

2. Dream catchers for the gang in Seremban.

Sweet dreams coming!
If we spent more time there, I'm sure I'll have more photos to post. Lol. After going to Chatuchak market, we went to Union Mall. Nothing special about the mall. It's like the Bangkok version of a high class Sg Wang. Not really cheap clothes. Lala designs. But I discovered one corner of the shopping mall which offers more branded shops. And a roadshow for an expensive brand. And props for photos. Let the photos speak for themselves.

Yup. TB400 for a shoe. OMG indeed.

Roar?

Exactly. Though they missed out a word. Lol.

Of course I am. Hahahaha..

My roomie. Heeee..

We're good.

I'm such a romantic. xD

I'm a best seller but still single. Why?!!!!
We spent time there until almost 9.00 and left when they started closing their shops. So early! Maybe it's the culture there. We took the train back to our hotel. On the way back, we stopped at Victory's Monument. All of us were kinda tired from the flight and all the walking. So just a few photos there.

Macam yes.

Memang yes.. Lol.

I don't like taking a photo with you,

I like it now. Haha..

Wefie 3.0
After that, to the hotel! Bathed, but no bathtub. *sob* And I realized I used TB2000 out of the TB6500 I brought there. OMG. Must use less dy. *sigh*

That's all for the first day of my trip to Bangkok. Stay tuned for Day 2.

May Update

So it's May! One more month till the end of the first half of the year.

So what are the updates in my life thus far?

1. I'm having semester break right now! Like this very minute I'm typing this.
2. I started playing a mobile game called DotArena.
3. I tried to start reading but I can't. Can't seem to find the motivation to start reading.
4. Still single. Sadly.
5. My hair turned fabulous. My friends mistook my natural curls for those curled curls. Lol.
6. I used Grindr and Jack'D again.
7. I need to buy new pants. I only have 2 at the moment.
8. I started swimming again.

That's all for now. But I must elaborate on point number 6. Seriously, people on Grindr never seem to reply. I mean, you might now have realized it because the genius who invented the app decided to make the notification available only after cash purchase, but not until few days later you still don't reply. Is it so hard to say "I'm sorry, but you're not my type." or "I'm more interested in people my age." or some polite rejection sentences? OMG. I get the hint you're not interested, but say lar. No need to use the ignoring method.

And then there are a few people who keep on messaging me to meet up. I'm flattered, seriously, but when they keep asking day in day out it gets a bit irritating. I'm not up for meet ups in the first place. I'd rather just chat because, that's what I'm looking for. Not one night stands, or no strings attached, or hook ups. Just chat. And I realized chatting is such a difficult task for them. Seriously? Different purposes I suppose. I might sound bitchy, but I won't meet someone I don't find interesting or attractive. I mean there must be some motivation for me to meet you, be it looks, or the ability to actually have a decent conversation. Yeah, ok, I see, k, nope. Pffftttt such turnoffs. So, sorry boys, guys, men. If you can't have a decent conversation and ask for a meet up, I'll need to turn it down. Probably why I'm still single today. =( But I have my own standards to meet.

Looks are everywhere, I mean, you can find eye candies scattered around. Even in this little Seremban town. But not everyone can chat, or converse. I find people who can chat or converse properly so much sexier than 6 packs. People who went to places. People who have a sense of humor. People who can talk about movies. People who can talk about songs. People who can talk about books. (Books are a plus point btw.)

To sum up, people who actually try to talk to you.

Sadly, these people are so scarce in the gay world, where most are going for looks, if not hot abs. I don't mind hot abs, spectacles, broad chests, sexy nipples, but first, they'll need to know how to converse. Other things are just bonuses. Especially if they actually read books, and wear spectacles, and average body type with a bit of tummy. *melts* If they have 6 packs instead of tummies, even better. Hahahaha..

Oh, on a side note, I uninstalled Grindr, but kept Jack'D. Grindr is such a waste of time. Jack'D, on the other hand, is not that time wasting. I'll talk about it next time.
