So it's May! One more month till the end of the first half of the year.
So what are the updates in my life thus far?
1. I'm having semester break right now! Like this very minute I'm typing this.
2. I started playing a mobile game called DotArena.
3. I tried to start reading but I can't. Can't seem to find the motivation to start reading.
4. Still single. Sadly.
5. My hair turned fabulous. My friends mistook my natural curls for those curled curls. Lol.
6. I used Grindr and Jack'D again.
7. I need to buy new pants. I only have 2 at the moment.
8. I started swimming again.
That's all for now. But I must elaborate on point number 6. Seriously, people on Grindr never seem to reply. I mean, you might now have realized it because the genius who invented the app decided to make the notification available only after cash purchase, but not until few days later you still don't reply. Is it so hard to say "I'm sorry, but you're not my type." or "I'm more interested in people my age." or some polite rejection sentences? OMG. I get the hint you're not interested, but say lar. No need to use the ignoring method.
And then there are a few people who keep on messaging me to meet up. I'm flattered, seriously, but when they keep asking day in day out it gets a bit irritating. I'm not up for meet ups in the first place. I'd rather just chat because, that's what I'm looking for. Not one night stands, or no strings attached, or hook ups. Just chat. And I realized chatting is such a difficult task for them. Seriously? Different purposes I suppose. I might sound bitchy, but I won't meet someone I don't find interesting or attractive. I mean there must be some motivation for me to meet you, be it looks, or the ability to actually have a decent conversation. Yeah, ok, I see, k, nope. Pffftttt such turnoffs. So, sorry boys, guys, men. If you can't have a decent conversation and ask for a meet up, I'll need to turn it down. Probably why I'm still single today. =( But I have my own standards to meet.
Looks are everywhere, I mean, you can find eye candies scattered around. Even in this little Seremban town. But not everyone can chat, or converse. I find people who can chat or converse properly so much sexier than 6 packs. People who went to places. People who have a sense of humor. People who can talk about movies. People who can talk about songs. People who can talk about books. (Books are a plus point btw.)
To sum up, people who actually try to talk to you.
Sadly, these people are so scarce in the gay world, where most are going for looks, if not hot abs. I don't mind hot abs, spectacles, broad chests, sexy nipples, but first, they'll need to know how to converse. Other things are just bonuses. Especially if they actually read books, and wear spectacles, and average body type with a bit of tummy. *melts* If they have 6 packs instead of tummies, even better. Hahahaha..
Oh, on a side note, I uninstalled Grindr, but kept Jack'D. Grindr is such a waste of time. Jack'D, on the other hand, is not that time wasting. I'll talk about it next time.
